Appellant Howard Dean appeals the judgment of the Perry County Circuit Court convicting him of first-degree murder and sentencing him to forty years' imprisonment. For his sole point for reversal, Appellant argues that he was denied a speedy trial, in violation of Ark. R.Crim. P. 28.
