The individual plaintiff, Robin Alinkofsky, was insured under her parents' vehicle liability policy, issued by present defendant insurer Country-Wide. She leased a car from a car rental agency, pursuant to which she elected coverage for third-party injuries to the extent of the $10,000 statutory minimum requirement, but, as per the rental agreement, agreed to hold the lessor harmless from liability in excess of that coverage...
