RULON, J.:

Defendants Peter J. Smith and Jeremy D. Mohs appeal the district court's denial of their motions to modify their sentences. We affirm.

In January 1997, defendant Peter J. Smith was convicted of criminal deprivation of a motor vehicle (K.S.A. 21-3705). The district court sentenced Smith to 12 months' probation, with 30 days in jail as a condition of probation.
