Defendant was originally indicted for three counts of sexual abuse in the third degree and one count of criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree. While that indictment was pending, defendant failed to appear for a scheduled court appearance and, as a result, the People filed a felony complaint charging him with bail jumping.
