MICHOL O'CONNOR, Justice.

Chance Derrick Gonzales, the appellant, pled guilty to murder after the trial court denied the motion to suppress his written confession. The appellant was sentenced to 45 years confinement. On April 22, 1999, the Court affirmed the trial court's judgment. In light of new case law issued after our original opinion, the appellant's motion for rehearing was granted, and the April 22 opinion is withdrawn. We substitute...
