Over his plea of not guilty, a jury found appellant, Jose Manuel Flores Mijores, guilty of aggravated robbery. See Tex. Pen.Code Ann. § 29.03 (Vernon Supp. 1994).1 The jury sentenced him to life imprisonment in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division, and assessed a $10,000 fine.
