This is an action to recover for the defendant's failure to pay wages in violation of G.L.c. 149, §48, failure to pay overtime in violation of G.L.c. 151, §1A, slander and infliction of emotional distress. After trial, judgment was entered for the plaintiff on the unpaid wages claim, but the court did not treble those damages or award attorney's fees.
