In a suit against his telephone company, a customer claimed that its failure to reactivate his account prevented him from entering its call-to-enter sweepstakes and deprived him of prizes having a total value of $1,020,000. The superior court granted summary judgment and attorney's fees to the company, reasoning that the company's tariff barred the customer's claim and that the claimed damages...
