Defendant-appellant Miguel Caraballo appeals the sentence imposed following his conviction for conspiracy to commit interstate transportation of stolen property in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 371. The issue on appeal is the district court's conclusion that a portion of Caraballo's sentence should run consecutively to a state sentence he was already serving for conduct related to the federal offense.
