I. INTRODUCTION

Era Aviation, Inc., fired Jerilue Seekins. Seekins sued Era for breach of the covenant of good faith and fair dealing, alleging that, despite the "at-will" termination clause in her employment contract, the covenant allowed Era to fire her only for good cause.
