Pursuant to the "three-strikes" provision of the Prison Litigation Reform Act ("PLRA"), 28 U.S.C. § 1915(g), the district court denied appellant Alvin Darrell Smith's application to proceed in forma pauperis in his civil suit against prison officials, and dismissed his complaint without prejudice to his bringing a paid complaint.
