Beras was convicted by a jury for failing to report that he was transporting over $10,000 in currency out of the United States in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 2 and 31 U.S.C. §§ 5316(a)(1)(A) & 5322, and for making a false statement in violation of 18 U.S.C. §§ 2 & 1001.
