{1} Defendant appeals the trial court's judgment and sentence entered after his jury conviction for trafficking cocaine, a controlled substance. See NMSA 1978, § 30-31-20 (1990). He contends that the trial court erred by excluding testimony of an attorney concerning statements made by a co-defendant that exculpated Defendant.
