We hold that Hawai`i Revised Statutes (HRS) § 604-10.5 (1993 and Supp.1998) requires that the hearing on the merits of a petition to enjoin harassment must be held within fifteen days of the filing of the petition. Therefore, we conclude the district court of the second circuit (the court) erred in granting a request to continue the hearing on the harassment petition brought by Petitioner...
