The plaintiff and her husband filed suit against her chiropractor and the chiropractic clinic at which he practiced alleging injury sustained as a result of malpractice. The jury determined that the chiropractor was negligent, but that the chiropractic clinic was not. Damages were awarded and then increased by the trial judge pursuant to a Motion for Judgement Notwithstanding the Verdict filed by the plaintiff. The Louisiana Patients' Compensation Fund...
