In this admiralty case, defendant, St. James Stevedoring, appeals the trial court's judgment finding it 90% liable in the injury of their employee, plaintiff, Jerry Allen. A co-defendant, Veracity Shipping Company, Ltd., was found 10% liable (plaintiff settled with this party prior to trial).
