MIRABAL, Justice.

Three charges against appellant, Terry Lesley Woodward, were tried to the same jury: aggravated assault of Luis Melendez; aggravated kidnapping of Patricia Caisedo; and possession of cocaine. The jury found appellant not guilty of aggravated kidnapping of Patricia Caisedo, and guilty of the other two offenses.
