It is fair to say that the appellant was found guilty of the attempted robbery of Janetta Bowens entirely on the basis of the victim's trial testimony. She stated that, on September 8, 1997, she was attacked on the street by a man who attempted to rip a gold chain from her neck. After hand-to-hand combat, during which Ms. Bowens got a good look at the perpetrator, he ran necklaceless from the scene...
