In January 1995, Larry D. Cooley and Marcia Cooley, husband and wife, sued Gulf Bank, Inc., and two of Gulf Bank's employees, M.E. Costigan and Kim S. McConnell, alleging a breach of contract, negligence, wantonness, negligent supervision, and fraudulent misrepresentation in regard to a construction-loan contract.
