Defendant, Valerie K. Williams, was charged by bill of information with distribution of cocaine within a drug free zone, i.e., within one thousand feet of school property. See La.R.S. 40:967 A(1) and La.R.S. 40:981.3. She filed a motion to quash on the grounds that: (1) there were no signs declaring the area to be a drug free zone; and (2) the offense occurred after school hours.
