Petitioner Jairo Gonzales-Morales1 seeks discretionary review of a decision of the Court of Appeals, Division I, affirming his conviction for two counts of second degree assault under RCW 9A.36.021(1)(c). The Court of Appeals concluded that Petitioner's constitutional right to counsel was not violated when the trial court used his court-appointed Spanish language interpreter to translate the testimony of a Spanish speaking
