Appellant, Kenneth Joel Rushing, was convicted of murder in the first degree for stabbing William Jack Allen to death in rural Miller County. Appellant was sentenced to life imprisonment and brings this appeal asserting that the trial court erred in denying his motion to suppress his inculpatory statements because the State did not meet its burden of proof that he made a knowing and intelligent waiver of his right to remain silent.
