Lillie Sanders (plaintiff) was employed by Grace Nursing Home (defendant) as a Nurse's Aide Helper. She was employed with Grace Nursing Home for over twelve years. On Friday, July 7, 1995, plaintiff completed her work shift (a 5:45 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. shift) and went home. She did not experience any pain on that day at work or at home, or the following two days (Saturday and Sunday) while she was off work. However, Sunday night she began experiencing pain...
