Defendant was charged by information with fourth degree assault, ORS 163.160, and harassment, ORS 166.065. He moved in limine to exclude statements of police officers reporting statements made by out-of-court declarants. The court denied the motion, and the trial proceeded before a jury on July 9, 1997. Defendant appeals his conviction of harassment,1 and also his conviction for contempt...
