Roy R. Garcia appeals from a judgment ordering him to pay a specified amount of child support for his three minor children. The principle issue presented is whether Garcia, an inmate incarcerated by the State of Idaho, was deprived of due process when the magistrate neither acted upon Garcia's motion to appear at the trial by telephone nor otherwise made provision for Garcia's participation in the trial.
