Appellant Dean Schmanski and respondent Kim Schmanski were married in 1984 and divorced in 1997. During the divorce proceedings, the distribution of the proceeds of three trusts was at issue. The district court found that the proceeds of the Dean M. Schmanski Trust and the Dean M.
