¶ 1 This case presents an issue of first impression in our Commonwealth: whether it is proper for a magistrate to issue an anticipatory search warrant pursuant to a finding of probable cause that is based primarily upon the anticipated occurrence of future events enumerated in the affidavit of probable cause. We hold that a magistrate's finding of probable cause to issue an anticipatory search warrant may be based only on circumstances presently known...
