Defendant-appellant, Ohio University, appeals from a judgment of the Ohio Court of Claims awarding plaintiff-appellee, Colonial Insurance Company of California, $6,301.50 in its subrogation action against defendant. Defendant assigns a single error:

"The trial court erred as a matter of law in asserting jurisdiction over and in awarding damages for a subrogation claim filed by an insurance...
