¶ 1. Oliver Johns was arrested and charged with one count of aggravated assault and one count of shooting into a motor vehicle. These charges arose from events which occurred on March 28, 1996. Johns was tried by jury in the Circuit Court of Pike County, Mississippi and found guilty and sentenced to twenty years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections and ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $1,948.42 to Kendall...
