Michael Rice appeals his convictions and sentence and urges four assignments of error. After a jury trial, the defendant was convicted of aggravated escape (La. R.S. 14:110) and first degree robbery (La. R.S. 14:64.1). The defendant was adjudicated a third-felony offender pursuant to La. R.S. 15:529.1. The trial court sentenced the defendant to life imprisonment without the benefit of parole, probation, or suspension...
