Angela Burton was indicted for and convicted of hindering prosecution in the first degree, a violation of § 13A-10-43, Code of Alabama 1975. Burton's conviction stems from her actions in allegedly rendering criminal assistance to Felicia Scott and Frederic Polion following the murder of Carethia Curry. Scott and Burton are sisters.
