Lionel Primas (plaintiff), a commercial truck driver, filed suit against the State of Louisiana, Department of Public Safety and Corrections, Office of Motor Vehicles (defendant), seeking expungement of five entries on his driver's operating record.2 The trial court found in favor of plaintiff and ordered defendant to expunge the entries.
