The defendant, Arthur J. Davis, Jr.,1 was charged by bill of information with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (DWI), fourth offense, in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:98. The defendant waived his right to a jury trial, and a bench trial followed. The defendant was convicted as charged.
