This case involves a dispute over the amount of underinsured motorist coverage (UIM) available to a plaintiff who was injured in an accident that resulted in injury to a number of people. Defendant Mutual of Enumclaw Insurance Company (insurer) reduced plaintiff's recovery by the amount that the underinsured tortfeasors' insurers paid to others injured in the accident who did not file UIM claims with insurer, as well as by the amount that the underinsured...
