This is a lawsuit for personal injuries arising from a rear-end auto collision in which judgment was rendered against an uninsured/underinsured motorist (UM) insurance carrier in the amount of $300,000. The judgment was based on a jury's finding that the UM coverage rejection form did not, in and of itself, give the insured the option to select UM coverage equal to bodily injury limits.
