ARMSTRONG, J.

Defendant seeks reversal of his conviction for possession of a controlled substance. Before trial, defendant moved to suppress evidence obtained by a police officer in an inventory conducted pursuant to Portland City Code 14.10.040.1 After the trial court denied the motion, defendant agreed to a trial on stipulated facts and was convicted. We reverse.
