This is an appeal that arises out of a concursus proceeding. Samedan Oil Corporation (Samedan) filed a concursus proceeding and deposited $488,974.04 into the registry of the trial court. Samedan took this action as one of its contractors, Ultra Fabricators, Inc. (Ultra Fab), refused to pay some of its contractors for work performed on Samedan's construction projects. One day before Samedan filed the concursus proceeding, Essex Crane Rental Corporation...
