OPINION

Opinion by Justice ROSS.

Pernell Dudley appeals from a judgment assessing punishment after a conviction for murder. In an earlier trial, a jury assessed his punishment at imprisonment for life. He appealed, and this Court reversed and remanded for a new punishment phase of the trial. Another jury assessed his punishment at imprisonment for ninetynine years. It is from the judgment assessing this punishment that Dudley now appeals.
