On September 23, 1996, the defendant, Ronald Robinson, was charged with one count of possession of phencyclidine. At his arraignment on September 25, 1996, he pled not guilty. His motion to suppress the evidence, heard October 25, 1996 was denied on December 20, 1996. On April 2, 1997, a six-person jury found the defendant guilty as charged.
