STATEMENT OF THE CASE

Defendant Tyrone Tyler was charged by bill of information on January 21, 1998 with possession of cocaine, a violation of LSA-R.S. 40:967(C). Tyler pled not guilty at his January 28, 1999 arraignment. After a hearing on February 13, 1998, the trial court denied Tyler's motion to suppress the evidence.
