GAUDIN, Judge.

Edward Hawkins Jr. was convicted by a 12-person jury in St. James Parish of aggravated rape, LSA-R.S. 14:42, and second degree kidnapping, LSA-R.S. 14:44.1. He was sentenced to life imprisonment for aggravated rape and to 30 years at hard labor for second degree kidnapping, to run consecutive to Hawkins' sentence for rape. We affirm both convictions and sentences.
