Following a jury trial, defendant Toijuan Cooksey was convicted of robbery (720 ILCS 5/18-1 (West 1996)) and vehicular hijacking (720 ILCS 5/18-3 (West 1996)) and sentenced to concurrent terms of 7 years' and 10 years' imprisonment, respectively.
