This is an appeal from a judgment awarding general damages to plaintiff, Suzan Malone Blades (Blades), in a defamation suit. Defendant/appellant, Steven D. Olivier (Olivier), doing business as Perfect Places & Properties (Perfect Places), contends that the general damage award of $15,000 to Blades is excessive.
