Raphael Guillory was injured on October 26, 1995, while operating a 1987 Case IH 244 tractor cutting grass at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Mallet, Louisiana. He was employed as a maintenance worker by the Diocese of Lafayette. He testified that as he was making a left turn the brakes on the tractor stuck throwing him up from his seat. The tractor then hit a hole causing him to almost fall off. The resulting jerking back and forth in the hole caused injuries...
