STATEMENT OF CASE

On 9 January 1998, the defendant, Joseph Littles, was charged by bill of information with possession with the intent to distribute cocaine in violation of La. R.S. 40:967. The defendant entered a plea of not guilty at his arraignment on 23 January 1998. A preliminary and suppression hearing was held on 4 March 1998.
