On April 8, 1994, the defendant was charged with two counts of armed robbery and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. On October 11-12, 1994 he was tried on the armed robbery counts and found guilty as charged. On April 4, 19951, the defendant was sentenced to serve forty years at hard labor without benefit of probation, parole or suspension of sentence on each count, with the sentences to run concurrently...
