¶ 1. This appeal arises from the Circuit Court of Warren County, Mississippi. At issue is the conviction of Cora Ann Turner for the crime of simple assault on a law enforcement officer. She was sentenced to a term of two years with the Mississippi Department of Corrections, with said sentence suspended upon the service of eleven months shock probation.
