Richard R. Watkinson was convicted, following a jury trial, of two counts of first-degree murder, an unclassified felony,1 for killing his father and stepmother, Robert and Rosemary Watkinson. Following the conviction, Superior Court Judge Eric T. Sanders imposed a composite sentence of 100 years of imprisonment.
