The petitioner, Robert Turner, was convicted of murder, aggravated kidnapping, unlawful restraint, aggravated criminal sexual assault and robbery and was sentenced to death. Petitioner appeals from a Macoupin County circuit court order dismissing his post-conviction petition without an evidentiary hearing.
