This case came before the Supreme Court on May 11, 1999, pursuant to an order directing the parties to appear and show cause why the issues raised in this appeal should not be summarily decided. The defendant, Stanley Brezinski, has appealed from a judgment of conviction entered after a jury found him guilty of felony assault.
